First attempt at water colouring!

First attempt at water colouring, late at night while waiting for a job on the laser to finish. I messed up the face & the printed lines smudged, but pleased for my first watercolour attempt with my new gansai tambi watercolours that I got with a birthday voucher The gorgeous image was from ‘all Dressed up’ In the above photo I had tried to neaten her face a little so it didn’t look so blotchy! An apology & an update

An apology & an update Well let me first start with an apology! Sorry for slacking with the freebies, giveaways, newsletters and having less posts recently…. Now let me continue with an explanation….Things here have been very busy, both on the business front and the family front. The last few months have been rife with family birthdays (most of which have been big ones!) Including my big 40 fast approaching at the end of the month and lots of organising going on for that too (more about that another day lol). Lilly’s had chicken pox and I’ve had a fair few […]

Blue hatted Bichon Frise Keyring!

Blue hatted Bichon Frise Keyring!   Christmas bits have been going out regularly since the start of the year and although its only early July, Christmas bits now seem to be leaving daily! The Santa buttons are already selling fast and if its anything like last Christmas we’ll be sick of seeing buttons soon lol  This cutie was a requested change to one of the Bichon Frise Christmas tree decorations. He has a blue hat instead of the sparkly red one and he has been made into a keyring. Are you feeling the festive vibes yet? Or like me, do you […]

In love with Peacock Feathers

In love with Peacock Feathers So in love with these Peacock feathers, they are lasercut from thick chipboard and are so beautiful and detailed.      I ummed and ahhhed about cutting them from wood, but from a crafting perspective much preferred them cut from the chipboard as its more flexible if I wanted to mould the feather around something or snip it to make it shorter for a project. I used Dylusion sprays to add the colour and managed to get to colours to mix beautifully in a mottled way, that really makes them look striking as peacock feathers. […]
