simple feather card white painted

A Striking simple feather

I’m back again with another gorgeous make from Mags Woodcock. This was created using our simple feather MDF piece and it’s such a simple yet effective idea. It looks so striking. Mags has used a paint pen to draw the doodling on the feather and then added it to a simple Kraft card blank. I hope you will pop back again soon for my next post, please feel free to sign up for the newsletter¬†using the box in the side bar or by entering your email address below, that way you won’t miss out on any hints, tips or Freebies […]

When is a winter scene not a winter scene!

Recently I have had the pleasure of working with the wonderful Mags Woodcock, who’s work blows me away! Not just are Mags creations amazing, the creativity she has in seeing something different to the norm in our items, is what makes me smile every time I see what she has made. Take for example the Santa 3D scene, this is a great scene and looks fab painted up, but wow, look what Mags decided to do with it instead! She has left off Mr Claus and his reindeer, painted the houses in bright colours and added some wonderful doodling around […]

frame fancy mixed media

Elegant Frame

Elegant Frame These stunning frames have been on my drawing board for some time! ¬† I’m so glad I got them finished and cut. They are so beautiful and delicate, yet sturdy enough to hold up to some great mixed media work. They also all come with the separate inners, that can be used with them or on their own. But they are a great way to make the inside of the frame smaller for smaller items. You can find them HERE in a variety of sizes. Sam x To keep up to date with the blog and for exclusive […]

In love with Peacock Feathers

In love with Peacock Feathers So in love with these Peacock feathers, they are lasercut from thick chipboard and are so beautiful and detailed. ¬† ¬†¬† I ummed and ahhhed about cutting them from wood, but from a crafting perspective much preferred them cut from the chipboard as its more flexible if I wanted to mould the feather around something or snip it to make it shorter for a project. I used Dylusion sprays to add the colour and managed to get to colours to mix beautifully in a mottled way, that really makes them look striking as peacock feathers. […]
